Job Description

  • Provide Failure Analysis (FA) support for customer returns, new product qual, in-house monitoring failures, shipment holds, line downs and escalated issues within specified timeframe.
  • Perform reliability tests and reports for product qualifications, monitoring and engineering evaluations. Comply with JEDEC standards, TS requirements etc.
  • Develop effective analysis techniques for characterization of materials, failure analysis and simulation of product performance.
  • Participate in quality-reliability, productivity and cost improvements programs.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related disciple.
  • Prior experience in failure analysis (electrical and physical), reliability, product engineering or characterization engineering.
  • Strong knowledge in package level reliability techniques and tools such as Temperature Cycling, Reflow Oven, THB, HTRB, HTFB etc.
  • Ability to interpret results generated from SEM, EDS, PEM, electrical testing, FTIR, FIB, XPS etc.
