Job Description

  • Responsible for the policies, systems, hiring processes, on-boarding, training and contract renewal of direct labour.
  • Review, evaluate and recommend suitable direct labour supply strategies in tandem with the growth of business, changes in local & international regulations governing the employment of direct labour.
  • Pay specific attention to direct labour workforce supply, capability and compliance issues; this includes workforce planning, training, retention, demographic analysis, etc. contributing to direct labour’s supply and capability assurance.
  • Key liaison on transport and hostel management ensuring efficiency and compliance in process and procedures and delivering effectively to the needs of employees and the scrutiny of regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Manage employee relations, engagement, welfare and benefits matters; ensure employee benefits are up-to-date according to regulations.
  • Responsible for compliance standards that might arise from time to time; to ensure that company policies, procedures and processes meet all requirements; work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure buy-in and follow-through on actions.
  • Keep abreast of existing and emerging labour and regulatory requirements and update management of any changes
  • Drive overall HR system and process improvement to continuously enhance HR practices.
  • Perform appropriate projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent discipline.
  • At least 8-10 years of HR track record
