Job Description

  • Management of labour relations programmes through dialogues and collaboration with union
  • Union negotiations on union related issues
  • Handling of disciplinary matters
  • Organise union-management meetings and annual union-management seminar
  • Analyze collective bargaining agreement to develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract
  • Administrative duties such as preparing reports and taking minutes of meetings

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an Industrial Relations role
  • A good university degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore employment laws & regulations, market practices and general business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organising skills for meetings and union-management events
  • IT savvy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
