
Job description
As the Failure Analysis Manager, you will oversee lab operations for cell safety and characterization. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving yield improvements, and managing both equipment and teams to maintain safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Direct lab operations, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols. Oversee daily operations in the safety and characterization lab, ensuring adherence to industry safety standards such as UN38.3, UL1642, and IEC62133. Manage the maintenance, calibration, and service of lab equipment, and implement rigorous safety protocols.
Plan and conduct testing to ensure compliance with industry benchmarks. Conduct extensive testing to verify compliance with industry benchmarks and standards, using advanced analytical techniques to interpret data.
Efficiently allocate resources, manage lab schedules, and oversee personnel to ensure optimal lab performance and meet operational goals.
Utilize technical expertise in battery technology to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous operational and product improvements.
Collaborate with production teams to enhance yield and overall quality.Â
Requirements
Bachelor’s (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
At least 5+ years of lab management in battery or semiconductor industries.
Strong background in advanced technology evaluation, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
