Job description
Define global sourcing strategy(s) for assigned category in alignment with the objectives of the Global Procurement organization to ensure long-term in time, cost effective supply of materials.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking Â
Analyse and understand impact to category strategy; deliver recommendations to support strategic direction
Support category team's needs for cost benchmarking, should-cost, Total Cost of Ownership analysis, DFx (Cost, Quality, manufacturability, Market), Value Sourcing approach Â
Plan and conduct commercial negotiations and support global negotiations as required
Responsible for site purchasing function, working closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other key internal stakeholders - Identify continuous improvement opportunities, alternative sourcing strategies, global price trends, and communicate progress / achievements to realize maximum value and organizational objectivesÂ
Responsible for Cost Savings Reporting, Spend Analytics and overall site purchasing Scorecards
Manages the Business Continuity Process (BCP) and supply risk for the site or assigned category
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or relevant study
Include working hours, years of work experiences and both technical/functional and behavioral competencies
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (Procurement / Purchasing / Sourcing / Supplier Management /
Category management) in Semiconductor/ Electronic industry. Proficiency in sourcing related skills including
sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management and supplier performance management
Demonstrated experience in change management projects with measurable, positive business outcomes
Working knowledge on Planning/ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamic 365 etc
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with high level of enthusiasm.Â
Excellent understanding of procurement processes, industry and suppliers with strong supplier sourcing and
knowledge
Strong analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working
independently to resolve critical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively and professionally at all
levels
Detail oriented and able to multi-task/work under pressure in a high energy and fast paced-environment with
critical and tight schedules.
Aptitude with data and information management, and reporting tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau,
SharePoint, BI Power Solutions etc.
