Job description
Planning and scheduling of maintenance of a fleet of equipment.
Develop whole of life planning for all equipment.
Develop and maintain equipment supplier relationships.
Managing, planning, scheduling and activity of mechanical repair and maintenance to deliver safe compliant cost effective solutions.
Manages favourable commercial outcomes, creates new & better means to achieve enterprise & business success, measures success in financial terms.
Ensuring compliance metrics are met.
Enforcing maintenance standards including fleet branding and appearance.
Bulk purchasing in conjunction with the Company’s Procurement Team.
Engaging third parties for maintenance (OEM’s and outsourcing subcontractors).
Recommend equipment specifications to maximise profitability of transport solutions.
Working collaboratively with other parts of the company’s business within and outside the Division in order to identify and support specific customer opportunities, strategies, cost reduction and performance enhancement.
Manage the day to day operations including equipment transfers and allocation to ensure internal customers have access to the appropriate fleet profile.
Requirements
Requires BS/BA degree in Mechanical or equivalent with 10 or more years of related experience with senior leadership roles.
Extensive experience in managing outsourced providers and international Fleet Services and logistics.
Demonstrated ability and passion for delivering service and operational excellence.
Ability to manage performance independently & deliver results as part of a geographical diverse team.
Experience in managing contractor/supplier agreements.
Strong business acumen.
Willingness to travel extensively.
