Role Overview: The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for enhancing sourcing standards and processes for materials and components. They will manage supplier evaluations, conduct regular audits, and lead quality improvement efforts. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to meet organizational standards and production needs.

  • Design and implement quality control and management systems for supplier assessment.

  • Regularly perform audits on suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed-upon standards and to foster ongoing process improvements.

  • Track and report on key metrics related to supply chain efficiency and supplier quality.

  • Resolve quality-related issues with suppliers through coordinated efforts that include corrective action plans.

  • Maintain robust supplier certification and performance review programs.

  • Liaise with product development and procurement to align supplier capabilities with company requirements.

  • Handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing as necessary to meet business objectives.

Requirements

要求:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline with at least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, specifically in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Comprehensive understanding of industry-standard quality assurance methodologies and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a manufacturing context.

  • Experience with statistical quality control tools and lean process improvement techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and external partners.

  • Fluent in English with competency in technical communication.

  • Able to travel occasionally for business needs, including supplier evaluations and operational audits.
